Job Description
- Ensure the systematic organization and preservation of the organization’s physical and digital records;
- Maintain accurate and accessible archives to support operational, legal, and historical needs;
- Implement and enforce records management policies and retention schedules;
- Facilitate efficient retrieval and use of archived materials by internal and external stakeholders;
- Safeguard the integrity, confidentiality, and longevity of archival content;
- Support digitization initiatives and manage digital asset systems for long-term access.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement archival policies and procedures;
- Organize and maintain physical and digital archives;
- Catalog and index archival materials using appropriate metadata standards;
- Ensure the long-term preservation of records through proper storage and handling;
- Facilitate access to archival materials for internal and external stakeholders;
- Respond to research requests and provide reference services;
- Coordinate digitization projects and manage digital asset systems;
- Train staff on records management and archival procedures;
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with records retention schedules;
- Collaborate with IT and legal departments to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance;
- Develop and implement archival policies and procedures;

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in library science, Archival Studies, History, or a related field;
- Postgraduate/master’s degree is desirable;
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in archives or records management;
- Knowledge of archival standards (e.g., ISAD(G), Dublin Core) and digital preservation practices;
- Proficiency in archival management software and digital asset management systems;
- Strong organizational and analytical skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Understand the facts, listen to key stakeholders and communicate objectives clearly, concisely and consistently;
- Clearly define roles, responsibilities and expectations, and think and act in ways that benefit the whole function;
- Be consistent in what we say and do, clearly linking strategy to decision-making and performance;
