Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Establish a sales strategy to suit the markets in Mozambique;
- Manage and grow the team and embed the consultative sales approach;
- Act as first salesman with existing and mainly potential customers;
- Transferring the company’s strategy into the Mozambican market;
- Develop the sales organization in Mozambique with regards to personnel, offices, warehouse, logistics, etc;
- Generate and identify sales leads;
- Pitch goods or services to new clients;
- Maintain a good working relationship with new contacts;
- Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings;
- Planning and preparing presentations;
- Communicating new product developments to prospective clients;
- Overseeing the development of marketing literature;
- Writing reports;
- Visiting clients and attending networking events;
- Develop documentation for sales team to promote the product;
- Develop sales and marketing strategies;
- Study competition and assert the market;
- Sales management;
- Marketing management;
- Public Relations management.
Requirements
- Profound commercial (with investment goods) experience and strong communication skills;
- Technical understanding of the product involved;
- Previous experience in selling products to the LNG and mining sector in central and north of Mozambique;
- Willingness to travel to Pemba and Palma;
- Experience in managing a team;
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English;
- Commercial Degree, preferably an MBA or similar; ideally combined with a degree in BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering.
